Neurologic Music Therapist
Rhythm and Strings Music Therapy, LLC supports growth, development and connections through music and movement.
We provide services in special purpose schools for students ages 5-21, and specialize in neurologic music therapy services with a focus on building skills in the areas of expressive & receptive language, motor skills, and sensory regulation.
​​We are passionate about creating multisensory learning experiences for our students and we share these resources for music therapists, parents, and caregivers to utilize in their classrooms, homes, and practices. By combining music, movement and visuals or props we increase opportunities for engagement and participation and enhance comprehension. ​
Rhythm and Strings Music Therapy is owned and operated by Marie Miller, MT-BC, NMT. Marie has been working with children and adults with physical and neurological challenges and differences for twenty years, with a focus on autism spectrum disorders. She became board certified in music therapy in 2013 and received her certificate in neurologic music therapy in 2015, NMT fellow in 2020, and NMT affiliate in 2025.
RSMT provides individual and group music therapy in schools, and residential facilities in New Hampshire (Strafford & Rockingham County) and Southern Maine (York County).​​
