Podcast: Adding visuals and props to increase engagement and learning in music therapy

I also share what sparked this idea and how I go about creating a song and adding visuals to it.

On this podcast we talk about one of our current favorite activities, "Matilda the Gorilla" by Mary Rice Hopkins. We've adapted this song for use in music therapy and have added visuals and sign language to enhance learning, engagement and participation. Here is the video on our YouTube channel:

The podcast can be downloaded or streamed from the Music Therapy Chronicles website, or found on other podcast platforms! We are episode #13, titled "Incorporating Visuals and Props."
