Age recommendation: We use this song in many of our school-age groups, ages 5-21.
Goals targeted: "Where do you Sleep?" targets motor skills using sign language as well as expressive language skills. In this song we talk about where animals sleep and touch briefly on creatures that hybernate and nocturnal animals. This song is implemented in two different ways depending upon the group. The first implementation is done solely in sign langauge and gross motor actions. The second implementation shows the animal sign language and then accompanies with guitar. We choose which implementation based upon the needs of the group or individual we are working with.
Adding visuals enhances engagement, learning and comprehension. This song includes 7 high quality printable visuals along with the lyrics, chords and explanation.
