Songs from group music therapy: video four

Hello Families,

Welcome to week four of our music therapy video series! Below you'll find a video for pre-k and a video for school-age. Occasionally there are songs that cross over between groups so feel free to check out both videos with your child!

With so many changes I hope to bring an element of consistency to your children with songs from our group music therapy sessions. From my home to yours we'll continue to build skills through music! Overarching goals include: gross and fine motor skills, motor imitation, expressive and receptive language, communication and sensory regulation.

To learn more about how we use music to target these skills visit our "videos" page here.

Many of the songs will be familiar to your child if they participate in one of our school-based music therapy groups. Because our school-based groups vary I will do my best to include a collection of songs that will have at least one familiar song to your child's regular music group.

For new families, I hope you enjoy singing, moving and having fun with your children while participating in this video series! Rhythm and Strings Music Therapy is on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube...we'd love to connect!
